Ali’ikai Manet Camacho Sablan (Teeki)

Ali’ikai Manet Camacho Sablan, also known as Teeki, serves as an Infantryman on recruiting duties for the US Army, based in Spanaway, WA. A graduate of Chief Sealth High School in 2013, Teeki's journey is marked by a deep commitment to fostering positivity within the Pacific Islander community and nurturing the educational and career aspirations of Polynesian, Micronesian, and Melanesian youth nationwide.

Throughout his tenure, Teeki has excelled as a recruiter, earning the distinction of top recruiter in his company seven times since his posting in Silverdale in 2023. Beyond his military duties, Teeki is an avid practitioner of martial arts, including Kickboxing, Muay Thai, Judo, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He finds solace in weightlifting, duck hunting, football, and music.

As a Career Counselor and Inspirational Speaker, Teeki draws from his diverse heritage—his mother hails from the Chamorro community of Saipan, while his father boasts mixed Filipino, Hawaiian, and German ancestry from Kauai. Born in Washington State, Teeki spent his formative years shuttling between Saipan and various cities in Washington, including Tacoma, Kent, and White Center. It was in White Center where he completed his high school education and enlisted in the US Army in late 2015.

During his nine-year military career, Teeki has deployed twice, serving in Afghanistan in 2016 and Iraq in 2018 as an 11B Infantryman. Today, he continues his service to the nation as a beacon of guidance and inspiration for future generations of Pacific Islander soldiers and youth seeking to carve their path to success.
